Community Web Sites | Not-for-profit and informal groups

Do you want a teaser to be created for this site?

Teaser Description
To draw postnet.com users' attention to community groups they may be unaware of, we'll be running 'teasers' on some of our pages -- a small picture (usually part of the group's logo, which we'll borrow from their website) and some text that you provide us here to interest users in what your group is doing. Users will be able to click on a teaser to visit the website profiled there. Advice: Make your description curious, quirky, intriguing, challenging or inspiring, rather than merely descriptive. Example: "Do you want to end racism and other forms of oppression? Join people who are making this goal a part of their everyday lives, at NCCJ!"

How should we index your website?

Choose the topical group that best represents your group:
Does your group belong in other topical groups as well? Which ones?

Would you like to attend a two-hour training in how to update and improve your website?

No Web experience is necessary to update and improve the Web site postnet.com will create for you. The tools are very simple; most people who are comfortable with computers and software will be able to use them without any further training. However, you are welcome to attend one of our two-hour orientations, either to get started or to deepen your skills and answer your questions.

Do you want to attend a training?

Either: Sign up for a scheduled training.

Terms and Conditions

The community group I represent is a not-for-profit organization -- either a 501(c)3, an unincorporated club, a park, a library or a school. Its basic orientation is not commercial, though it may sell items such as books, T-shirts and other material related to its work on a small scale. It will sell nothing through the website it creates here on postnet.com. It will include no advertisements for commercial enterprises on this website, although it may refer in ordinary text, containing no commercial messages, to other organizations that sponsor or contribute to it.
